March 29, 2000
Works by the students were selected for the DISD/DAEA 2000 Youth Art Month Exhibit. The works were placed on display at Dallas City Hall from March 4, 2000 - March 29, 2000.

She won for artistic merit.

April 3, 2001
Veronica, along with other student artists perfomed in front of a live audience "how to draw with your feet". Her and the students displayed a technique that her professor of art demonstrated one day in class. The purpose of the act was to inform the audience that art can be anything no matter how it is made.
